Job Title: Automation Systems Integration Specialist

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for automation projects.

  • Develop detailed designs and specifications for automation systems, including PLC/SCADA programming, HMI development, robotics integration, sensor selection, and network architecture, considering local requirements and standards.

  • Evaluate and select automation equipment and system vendors. Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery and quality of supplied components and services.

  • Develop, program, and configure PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems. Work with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems as required.

  • Oversee the integration of various automation components and systems. Lead the testing, commissioning, and validation phases of automation projects.

  • Supervise the installation of automation equipment and wiring according to design specifications and safety standards.

  • Provide technical support for existing automation systems, diagnose and resolve issues, and implement necessary modifications or upgrades.

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design specifications, drawings, program code, test plans, and commissioning reports.

  • Ensure that all automation projects and systems comply with relevant safety standards and regulations. Implement safety measures and conduct risk assessments.

  • Provide training to plant personnel on the operation and maintenance of new automation systems, utilizing local language where appropriate.

  • Identify areas for improvement in automation projects and processes, and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in automation systems integration and project management.

  • Strong understanding of PLC/SCADA programming, HMI development, robotics integration, and sensor selection.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
