Power Electronics Systems Developer

We are seeking an experienced Power Electronics Systems Developer to lead the development of high-voltage battery systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware architecture and component specifications, as well as experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define system hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering teams to ensure efficient design and development.
  • Develop PCB layouts for high-power designs ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
  • Select and integrate components including MCUs, ADCs, op-amps, shunt resistors, Hall-effect sensors, and isolation devices.
  • Develop schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in power electronics systems development and hardware design.
  • Strong understanding of hardware architecture and component specifications for high-voltage battery systems.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient design and development.
  • Proficiency in developing schematics and PCB layouts using tools like Altium Designer, OrCAD, or KiCAD.
  • Knowledge of automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.
