Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical system and power electronics design activities, ensuring seamless integration of new architectures and products.
  • Define architecture, system and component-level requirements to meet certification standards and customer needs.
  • Perform in-depth analysis (FMECA, simulations, modelling) on new architectures/products to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Ensure design and development meets industry-recognised certification standards and customer requirements.
  • Conduct thorough designs/documents/test-plan reviews to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Establish scope and framework for standardisation of integration processes and common tools identification, preparing associated documentation for company records and design reviews.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in power supply design, power converters, analog & digital control, MOSFETs/GaNs, gate driver circuitry, transformer/inductor design.
  • Experience in multiple product development stages - circuit design, simulations & analysis, manufacturing and validation.
  • Expertise in modelling & simulation tools such as Spice, MATLAB / Simulink, PSIM and PCB Design tools such as Eagle/OrCad/Altium.
  • Familiarity with Solar arrays/MPPT/Battery/BMS/Wiring Harness topics.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in component level & system level certification and standards.
  • Experience in Aerospace/Automotive domains.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical/Power Electronics/Equivalent field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in related field.
