Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished IT leader to spearhead the development of scalable processes and ensure high-quality service delivery across our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of network and cloud administrators, fostering technical growth and career development.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of network and cloud administrators, promoting technical excellence and career advancement.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across engineering and operations.
  • Define and communicate clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive operational excellence by maturing processes for efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement structured workflows for change management, incident response, and service requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery and integration across platforms.
  • Coordinate with technical leaders for work allocation and technical direction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring service expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Monitor and improve client satisfaction through proactive engagement and service enhancement initiatives.
  • Ensure infrastructure patching is performed regularly and effectively to maintain security and compliance.
  • Validate implementation results and ensure documentation is complete and accurate within IT systems.
  • Establish collaborative frameworks to enhance communication, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency across teams.
Requirements:
  • Availability for after-hours escalations.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and understand urgency.
Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years of experience in network and cloud infrastructure support, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Knowledge of managing patching of infrastructure (network and servers).
  • Understanding of business and technology processes.
  • Proven track record of escalation management experience.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM frameworks and operational best practices.
  • Proven experience in process development and operational maturity.
  • Excellent critical thinking and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at different levels – direct-reports, peers, and senior leaders.
  • General experience of cloud technologies (e.g. Azure, VMWare, AWS, Windows, Linux) and network technology (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba ClearPass) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g. Logic Monitor & Solar Winds) is an asset.
  • University degree or college diploma program in computer science, business, technology, information systems, or related areas.
