We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures across enterprise environments.

This role is critical to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data by defending against network-based threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Secure Network Architecture: Design and deploy secure network architectures for on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Network Security Management: Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and network access control systems.
  • Threat Detection and Response: Monitor network traffic and security events using IDS/IPS and SIEM platforms. Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with SOC and IT teams to investigate and remediate network-related incidents. Develop and enforce network security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Risk Assessment and Threat Modeling: Perform risk assessments and threat modeling for network infrastructure. Ensure secure configuration and patching of routers, switches, and other network devices.
Requirements:
  • 5–7 years of experience in network security engineering or architecture.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing enterprise firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, SNMP).
  • Experience with IDS/IPS tools and SIEM platforms.
  • Familiarity with VPN technologies and secure remote access.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and security controls.
  • Experience with packet analysis tools and scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and secure SD-WAN implementations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, PCNSE.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex network environments.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional security initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with network access control solutions and SOAR platforms.
  • Exposure to MITRE ATT&CK framework for network threat mapping.
  • Experience with compliance audits and knowledge of integrating threat intelligence into network defense strategies.
