Enterprise Network Specialist

As an Enterprise Network Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and integrity of our IT infrastructure.
- Provide first-class support to internal staff and clients with a service level agreement (SLA) of 99.5% uptime for all IT devices, including firewalls, routers, network switches, Wi-Fi controllers, ISP internet, and IP telephony equipment.
- Have in-depth knowledge of firewall setup and policies configuration, as well as network switching/routing configuration and network outage management skills.
- Fault finding, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and fault escalation within agreed SLAs (remotely) with flexibility.
- Work collaboratively with L2/L3 teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Deliver feasible solutions on assigned opportunities in tandem with the IT Manager and team.
- Be a guided example and mentor to the team.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and ensure timely updates to asset inventory.
- Effectively manage vendors.
- Possess exceptional knowledge of desktop hardware and OS support.
- Excellent communication and writing skills are essential.
Skill Set:
- Networking, LAN crimping, IP addressing, sub-netting, VLAN, trunking, network troubleshooting, operating system, drivers, and software installation, desktop troubleshooting, data backup and restore, CCTV setup, access control devices, Office 365, and G-Suite.
- Knowledge of IP telephony is an added advantage.
