Senior Human Resources Strategist

This is a pivotal role that requires a seasoned professional to spearhead the Human Resources function for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategy and policy in support of business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR operations, industrial relations, and labor legislations. They will be able to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and communicate effectively with all levels of management.

• Strategic HR Partner
  • Develops and implements employee relations and human resource programs and practices in alignment with business objectives.
  • Partners with the business to understand needs and align people strategy accordingly.
• Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
  • Ensures timely talent acquisition by providing a talented workforce to meet business needs.
  • Identifies manpower requirements based on business priorities and plans budget and hiring accordingly.
  • Provides best-in-class onboarding experience for new joiners.
• HR Manpower Planning, Budgeting
  • Assists in budgeting process of all HR items (manpower costs, Opex Costs) and headcount requirement.
  • Reviews and monitors actual spend vis-à-vis approved budgets, ensuring optimum utilization of manpower budgets and trend analysis.
  • Identifies opportunities for savings and realizes periodic savings.
• Performance Management
  • Drives continual performance management and annual compensation review for the site.
  • Trains line managers on goal setting and sharing performance feedback.
  • Enables business leaders to make informed decisions regarding promotions, compensation revisions, etc.
• Talent Management
  • Implements periodic talent management reviews and ensures development/retention plans are executed.
  • Creates and implements succession plans for critical roles.
  • Understands talent priorities of the site, identifies development needs, and drives programs to address these needs.
• Learning & Development
  • Promotes a culture of learning and high performance.
  • Identifies training needs, prepares training calendars, and evaluates training efficacy.
  • Works with corporate HR teams to implement various training programs for the site.
• HR Compliance & Statutory Obligations
  • Ensures HR legal compliances by monitoring and implementing applicable statutory laws.
  • Maintains records and represents the organization at various associations related to Human Resources.
  • Liaisons with statutory bodies and government agencies to ensure compliance.
• Labour Management
  • Maintains a harmonious and productive IR environment.
  • Tracks productivity and identifies scope for cost savings.
  • Ensures all statutory compliances are followed by manpower vendors.
  • Resolves employee grievances in a timely manner and takes disciplinary actions as needed.
• Employee Engagement & Wellbeing
  • Implement initiatives to impact key drivers of employee engagement.
  • Leads wellbeing initiatives to achieve holistic wellbeing of employees.
• HR Operations
  • Supervises and reviews all HR operations pertaining to employee life cycle to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Guide and Coach HR Team Members
  • Guides and coaches HR team members to take higher responsibility and develop next-line leaders.
• Special Projects
  • Supports in conceptualizing and executing special HR-related projects to meet specific business needs.

MBA HR/Masters in Human Resource Management

• 15+ years' experience handling HR functions, with manufacturing experience preferred.
