About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled Design for Test (DFT) Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in implementing advanced test methodologies in ASIC design. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing DFT architectures, including scan insertion, boundary scan, MBIST, and JTAG.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement DFT architectures to ensure high-quality designs.
  • Perform ATPG to achieve high fault coverage and optimize test patterns.
  • Integrate DFT features into RTL and work closely with synthesis and backend teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct timing analysis and constraint management for DFT logic to ensure efficient designs.
  • Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure DFT compliance and coverage.
  • Support silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation for DFT features to guarantee successful product releases.
  • Debug test failures, optimize test patterns, and support ATE test development to enhance overall quality.

Required Skill Set :

  • Strong hands-on experience in Scan Insertion, ATPG, MBIST, and JTAG implementation is essential.
  • Proficient with DFT tools such as Tessent (Mentor), DFTMAX (Synopsys), and Test Compiler to streamline workflows.
  • Strong scripting skills using TCL, Perl, and/or Python for automation to increase productivity.
  • Solid understanding of RTL design, synthesis flow, STA (Static Timing Analysis), and other relevant technologies.
  • Familiarity with silicon bring-up and production test flows is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of fault modeling, pattern generation, and debug techniques to tackle complex issues.
  • Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive project success.
