Construction Project Manager Job Description

A Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering and 0 to 4 years of experience in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day construction activities, ensuring they align with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  2. Monitor work on-site to ensure it meets quality and safety standards, as well as any regulatory requirements.
  3. Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices to ensure a secure work environment.
  4. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to allocate resources efficiently.
  5. Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering issues related to construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, and change orders.
  7. Address unexpected issues that may arise during construction and offer practical solutions to keep the project on track.
  8. Keep clients informed about project progress and address their concerns.
  9. Conduct regular inspections to verify work quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree: BTech/ BE Civil Engineering
  • Experience: 0 to 4 yrs Experience
  • Proficiency in construction management.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
