Project Coordinator Role

As a key member of the project team, you will oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This part-time position offers a hybrid work model, requiring both remote work and in-person site visits or office meetings as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project work plans, schedules, and milestones; provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract scope, safety standards, quality requirements, and budget controls.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors to monitor on-site progress and address any field issues.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation using construction management software.
  • Handle all project administration, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change orders, site instructions, deficiency reports, and closeout packages.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Preparing cost estimates, bid packages, and tender submissions for commercial construction projects.
  • Issuing and managing purchase orders for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Tracking subcontractor invoices and preparing project billing and progress claims.
  • Maintaining strict budget control and identifying cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Representing the company at project meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors through proactive communication.
