Job Title: Data Center Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Manager to lead our data center operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data center operations, managing critical situations to achieve service level agreements (SLAs), and owning standards of work (SOW) and SLAs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data center infrastructure, excellent organizational skills, and experience in leading teams to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Shift Team: Lead the shift team to ensure all planned and unplanned activities are executed within timelines with good communication.
  2. Track Complaints: Track all complaints and close them within the SLA deviation.
  3. Incident Management: Manage incidents and conduct root cause analysis (RCA) with recommendations on time, with periodic review of RCA.
  4. Asset Management: Manage assets, warranty, AMC, lifecycle, and capacity management.
  5. PPM Tracking: Track and complete 5 PPM with TAT, with OEM, and ensure 100% availability of equipment.
  6. Vendor Management: Manage vendors with RAT and TAT on complaints and ensure uptime of redundant equipment.
  7. Stock Tracking: Track and maintain records for all stocks as per BCP requirements.
  8. Customer Queries: Coordinate with CE teams for customer-related queries and submit reports on time.
  9. Compliance: Maintain 100% compliance with periodic trackers.
  10. Physical Security: Maintain and adhere to physical security processes.
  11. Risk Assessment: Prepare risk assessments and periodic validations and updates based on incidents and RCA.
  12. Inventories: Update inventories up to date with capacity vs accommodate vs balance on monthly bases with customer details on rack inventory.
  13. Reports: Submit all reports on time with agreed timelines.
  14. Audit Compliance: Ensure 100% audit and compliance.
  15. HSE Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge in HSE.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering Degree: Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant Work Experience: At least 7+ years of progressive data center and/or critical facilities experience.
  • Solid Technical Background: Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience in data center infrastructure.
  • Solid Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
