Job Title: Cloud Data Solutions Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable data platforms using Microsoft Azure services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure data platform
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouses and data lakes
  • Manage data storage and organization within Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
  • Implement ETL/ELT processes to ensure data is moved efficiently and accurately
  • Maintain data security best practices and implement RBAC, managed identities, and Azure Key Vault to protect sensitive data
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Spark
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL/ELT concepts
  • CI/CD experience with version control systems like Git and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices using Azure DevOps
