Job Title:

Mining Sales Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional for the position of Techno-Commercial Sales Manager in Kolkata, India. This role requires an expert who can drive sales growth by leveraging strong technical knowledge and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Tech-commercial Sales: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to closing deals related to mining machinery consumables, wear-tear parts, and accessories.

  2. Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including mine operators, procurement teams, and maintenance managers.

  3. Market Analysis Strategy: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs.

  4. Product Application Technical Support: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations showcasing the features and benefits of after-sales products.

  5. Sales Reporting Performance Tracking: Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management review.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in techno-commercial sales to mining customers, particularly in consumables, wear-tear parts, and after-sales products.

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of surface miners, road headers, and related mining equipment.

  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Location Travel: Based in Kolkata with extensive travel to mining sites and customer locations as required.
