Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Engineer with hands-on experience in hydraulic drilling systems, heavy earthmoving machinery, and mining/construction equipment. The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in hydraulic system design, diagnostics, and maintenance, along with field commissioning experience in demanding environments. This role requires a balance of theoretical knowledge, practical ability, and project coordination to support design, integration, and after-sales service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize hydraulic circuits for drilling attachments, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
  • Prepare and interpret hydraulic schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Commission hydraulic systems at client sites, including pressure tuning, flow rate adjustment, and control calibration.
  • Diagnose faults in hydraulic systems using test equipment, gauges, and software tools.
  • Overhaul and maintain components such as hydraulic drifters, cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, electrical, service) for product development and system integration.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 4413 and other hydraulic system safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to field technicians and service teams.
  • Conduct failure analysis and prepare root cause reports for performance issues.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers for component selection and quality validation.
Key Skills & Technical Expertise:
  • Hydraulic circuit design (open loop, closed loop, load-sensing systems)
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic drifters, rock drills, and hydraulic motors
  • Knowledge of major hydraulic brands (Bosch Rexroth, Parker, Danfoss, Eaton, Hydac)
  • Familiarity with electro-hydraulic systems, joystick controls, and CANBUS integration
  • Strong command over AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and hydraulic simulation tools (Automation Studio, AMESim)
  • Field experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and system tuning
  • Working knowledge of PLC, HMI integration and fault diagnostics
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Hydraulic Engineering
  • Minimum 4–8 years of experience in hydraulic systems for mining or construction equipment
  • Certification in Fluid Power Systems (IFPS / SAE / NFPA) preferred
