Job Title:

Hydraulic Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Hydraulic Engineer, specializing in hydraulic drilling systems, heavy earthmoving machinery, and mining/construction equipment.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing hydraulic circuits for drilling attachments, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment. They will also prepare and interpret hydraulic schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation. Additionally, they will commission hydraulic systems at client sites, including pressure tuning, flow rate adjustment, and control calibration.

The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. They should also have a solid understanding of ISO 4413 and other hydraulic system safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop hydraulic circuits for drilling attachments, excavators, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
  • Prepare and interpret hydraulic schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation.
  • Commission hydraulic systems at client sites, including pressure tuning, flow rate adjustment, and control calibration.
  • Diagnose faults in hydraulic systems using test equipment, gauges, and software tools.
  • Overhaul and maintain components such as hydraulic drifters, cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • Collaborate with design, electrical, and service teams for product development and system integration.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 4413 and other hydraulic system safety standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to field technicians and service teams.
  • Conduct failure analysis and prepare root cause reports for performance issues.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers for component selection and quality validation.
