Capture Manager Job Description

As a Capture Manager, you will play a vital role in driving business growth by identifying and capturing new opportunities across various sectors.

  • This key position involves developing strategies to win proposals, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Proposal Development: Collaborate with team members to develop winning proposal strategies, including teaming, pricing, and concept development.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential opportunities, analyze client needs, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Qualification and Proposal: Qualify RFIs and RFPs, develop compliant and compelling content, and drive the proposal process to successful completion.
  • After-Action Review: Conduct detailed after-action reviews for all contracts, documenting lessons learned and implementing necessary adjustments to capture techniques and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in capture-related activities, preferably in Federal or State procurements.
  • Strong track record of winning staffing and SOW-based proposals in the Public Sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear, logical, and persuasive documents, leveraging business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of GSA and other Federal Schedules is essential.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a relevant field, such as English, Journalism, or Communications.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
