Vehicle Model Lead

Job Description:

  • Lead a team of modelers in creating high-quality vehicle models for automotive OEM clients.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to ensure timely delivery of models while maintaining the desired design intent.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience as a manager in modeling and clay studio within an automotive OEM.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects on time.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead vehicle model-building activities for 2-wheeler / 3-wheeler projects with a small team.
  2. Deliver fully finished models for management presentations.
  3. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering / Testing / Protoshop) during meetings.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve model issues while maintaining the desired design intent.
  5. Manage and mentor junior modelers in clay and other model-making processes.
  6. Oversee the entire model-building lifecycle: building of armature, clay modeling and finishing, final painted/presentable model.
  7. Ensure timely delivery of models as per planned/agreed timelines.
