Strategic Leadership Role

An exciting opportunity to oversee a team of professionals responsible for catastrophe modelling and treaty underwriting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 5-6 members, providing guidance on account pricing, exposure databases, and client interactions.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of location information, prioritizing high-value and high-risk locations.
  • Format, scrub, and arrange data to meet model requirements and ensure logical checks are in place.
  • Maintain accurate and timely account pricing, adhering to service level agreements.
  • Support underwriters with queries, exposure movements, and risk-specific observations.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in cat modelling/treaty modelling, preferably with insurance/reinsurance background.
  • Proficiency in AIR touchstone, SQL, and MS office.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel/VBA programming language.
  • Team management skills and strong communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Insurance certification or projects in dissertation.
  • Strong understanding of catastrophe modelling principles and practices.
