Cloud Network Architecture SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cloud Network Architecture Specialist with a strong background in data center networking, specifically in Software Defined Networking (SDN) within a private cloud & virtualization domain.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, Implementation, and Management of Cloud Network Infrastructure: Architect, design, install, maintain, and manage equipment for physical and SDN network frameworks.
  • Ensure High Availability, Flexibility, and Performance: Maintain SLAs, ensure high availability, flexibility, and network performance.
  • Infrastructure Documentation: Maintain, audit, review, and update infrastructure documentation.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work collaboratively with clients and team members on day-to-day changes, incidents, and requests. Oversee a team of Network Engineers, provide technical guidance, and evaluate team member performance.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Proactively monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess risks, business impact, and provide recommendations.
  • Technical Presentations and Proposals: Prepare, review, and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals related to cloud network infrastructure.
  • Technical Validation Activities: Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof of Concept.
Requirements:
  • At least 6-8 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Center networks, L2/L3 technologies, Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and wireless, Cisco/Juniper/Fortigate firewalls, Load balancer etc.
  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of the following Data Center network technologies:
  • WAN & Routing technologies (Leased lines, GRE VPNs, IPSEC based VPNs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP/HSRP, EVPN etc.)
  • Security technologies (Firewalls, ACLs, NAT, IPS, IDS, RADIUS, TACACS+, IAS, VPN technologies)
  • Switching (VLANs, VXLAN LACP, EtherChannel, 802.3ad, VTP, 802.1q)
  • Familiarity with QoS including basic QoS commands and implementations
  • Network monitoring Protocols & Tools (SNMP, NetFlow , Zabbix, PRTG etc.)
  • Good Knowledge of SDN Technologies, preferably hands-on experience on any one of the SDN provider – VMWare NSX, Juniper Contrail/Tungsten, Arista, Cisco etc.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly narrow down and resolve problems.
  • Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter and can demonstrate effective project management and completion of complex network tasks with little guidance.
  • Motivated learner – ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep networking skills current with emerging technologies
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people in the above role.
