Senior Cloud Solution Architect

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and deploying cloud solutions using Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory. Additionally, they should be proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Work directly with stakeholders and clients to understand their business needs, goals, and challenges.
  • Architect and implement end-to-end cloud solutions leveraging Azure services.
  • Utilize IaC to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously monitor, optimize, and ensure high availability and scalability of Azure-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solution design with at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure.
  • Extensive experience in designing and deploying enterprise-level solutions using Azure services.
  • Expertise in IaC with proficiency in tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security best practices, networking in cloud environments, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proven experience in cloud migration strategies including hybrid cloud models and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
