Job Title: Physiotherapy Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Professor of Physiotherapy to join our academic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead in teaching, research, and service.

About the Role:

Research and Mentorship:

  • Conduct research in physiotherapy, targeting publication in reputable academic journals.
  • Seek external funding to support research activities, enhancing the department's reputation.
  • Provide academic and career mentorship to students, guiding them towards success.

Service and Collaboration:

  • Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Engage with industry and community stakeholders to develop strategic partnerships, driving innovative initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or a related field, demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability or potential for research and teaching excellence, driving academic achievement.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, essential for teamwork and collaboration.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as an assistant professor, with a strong track record of academic achievement.
  • Desirable: 2 years of experience as an associate professor, with a demonstrated capacity for leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A proven track record of publications in reputable academic journals, showcasing research excellence.
