Industrial Design Academic Director

Job Overview:
We seek an accomplished academic leader to head our Product Design department.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial design, exceptional leadership skills, and experience in academic administration.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curricula that align with the school's mission and vision.
- Support faculty members in their teaching practices, research projects, and professional development.
- Evaluate program curriculum regularly to ensure it meets industry standards and stays relevant.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Promote student recruitment efforts effectively.
- Maintain a strong industry network by bringing experts for academes engagements.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in industrial design.
- Total 15+ years of experience with minimum of 5 years experience in an academic leadership role.
- Strong understanding of current trends and developments in industrial design.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with faculty, staff, students, industry professionals, and stakeholders.
