Job Role:

The Tendering Coordinator will be responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting bids for infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, bridges, and urban development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Identification & Evaluation
    • Monitor government and private procurement portals daily for relevant tenders.
    • Evaluate eligibility criteria, scope of work, and risks before participating.
    • Prepare bid synopsis and present feasibility reports to management.
  • Bid Preparation & Submission
    • Coordinate with the estimation team for inputs.
    • Compile technical & financial bids as per client requirements.
    • Ensure timely submission of bids with complete documentation.
  • Cost Estimation & Pricing
    • Work with the estimation team to prepare competitive pricing.
    • Analyze BOQ, material, manpower, and subcontracting requirements.
    • Recommend pricing strategies based on competitor analysis.
  • Liaison & Coordination
    • Coordinate with government bodies, consultants, and clients for clarifications.
    • Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client interactions.
    • Follow-up on bid results and maintain relationships with authorities.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    • Maintain updated vendor registrations, certificates, and statutory compliances.
    • Ensure adherence to legal, tax, and technical documentation in bids.
    • Maintain bid MIS reports, success ratios, and competitor insights.

Qualifications & Experience:

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Business Administration and 5–8 years' experience in tendering/contracts in infrastructure/construction sector are required. Strong knowledge of EPC, PPP, BOT tendering models and proficiency in government procurement portals (CPPP, IREPS, GEM, etc.) are also necessary.

  • Timely submission of bids without compliance errors.
  • Accuracy of cost estimates and profitability of secured projects.
  • Quality of market intelligence and competitor analysis reports.
