Tender Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Tender Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of experience in tendering and proposals, with a strong foundation in carbon markets, renewable energy, and sustainability projects.

This role involves managing the preparation and submission of tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and bids in line with client and sector requirements. The successful candidate will review tender documents, identify compliance requirements, deadlines, and deliverables, and collaborate with internal teams to compile inputs, cost estimates, and supporting materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit high-quality tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and bids on time.
  • Review tender documents and ensure compliance with client and sector requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to compile inputs, cost estimates, and supporting materials.
  • Draft and structure technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of templates, case studies, credentials, and standard bid documents.
  • Track and monitor relevant opportunities from government bodies, corporates, and international organizations.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals and follow up with clients and partners.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-6 years of experience in Tender Management in the field of Climate Change and sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures in government, corporate, or donor-funded projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in drafting proposals for sustainability, carbon credits, or renewable energy projects.
  • Exposure to working with international donors, development banks, or corporates.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
