Job Title

Staff Architect is responsible for leading the end-to-end architecture of digital banking platforms, including mobile, web, and API gateways.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to align digital solutions with business and technology strategy.
  • Own architecture decisions for integration with core banking systems, such as Temenos, Finacle, FIS, and Fiserv.
  • Design scalable, secure, and cloud-native architectures leveraging modern technologies like microservices, containers, and event-driven systems.
Responsibilities

The Staff Architect will be responsible for:

  • Leading the architecture for digital banking platforms, including mobile, web, and API gateways.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and technology strategy.
  • Developing and implementing architecture decisions for integration with core banking systems.
  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cloud-native architectures.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • 12 years of experience in software or solution architecture, with at least 8 years in financial services.
  • 5 years of direct experience leading architecture for digital banking platforms at a large bank or fintech.
