Operations and Financial Strategy Manager

We aim to bridge the gap between young individuals who are increasingly disconnected due to urbanization and excessive screen time. Our mission is to help them meaningfully reconnect with each other offline.

Your Role:

You will lead our financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up. Your focus will be on ensuring we have the necessary resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from day one.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Lead fundraising efforts: prepare investor materials, create pitch decks, manage financial modeling, and investor relations.
  • Build robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
  • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Design and execute a marketplace operations playbook.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensure enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
  • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.
  • Develop KPI dashboards: event volume, ticket sales, host retention, repeat attendance.
  • Hire and manage community managers and operational staff as we grow.
Requirements:
  • Strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is highly desirable.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
