Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Operations Manager to join our team at Eka Software Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cloud infrastructure and operations, with experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud-based systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project teams to solve complex problems and drive cloud adoption across the organization.
  • Design and implement cloud architecture blueprints to increase cloud adoption and recommend cloud architecture strategies, processes, and methodologies.
  • Develop native cloud application architectures or optimize applications for AWS.
  • Design and implement best-fit solutions for multi-cloud ecosystems and have a deep understanding of AWS components and the AWS well-architected framework.
  • Improve resiliency for all cloud applications and infrastructure, ensuring HA, DR, and data protection requirements are met.
  • Use configuration management, orchestration, and management tooling to ensure cloud environments meet operational and security standards.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of our cloud infrastructure systems and propose and implement cloud standards and architectural usage patterns.
  • Continually enhance automation of environment architecture/deployments, taking full advantage of cloud agility using IAC tools and CICD tools.
  • Develop a Containers / Kubernetes strategy and evangelize its usage across the company.
  • Work with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and enable them to work with our infrastructure and platforms.
  • Lead the implementation of complex projects and initiatives with companywide scope and create architectural artifacts for products and key technology initiatives with a focus on Cloud security.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Information Science.
  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of comprehensive security technologies in OnPrem, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments.
  • Security and cloud certifications, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and CCSP.
  • Experience in multi-cloud security architecture, design, and implementation for regulated industries and designing and implementing AWS architectures and environments.
  • Understanding of Oracle-based databases and application-database integrations.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including VPC, RDS, IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Route53, and more.
  • Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Kubernetes toolset.
  • Experience with hosted services in high-volume enterprise environments and knowledge developing/working with Linux Operating Systems.
  • Change management and patch management with real-time experience with patching tools like Manage Engine, WSUS Server, and AWS Patch Manager.
  • Experience with configuring and taking backups for Azure and AWS.
  • Managing and administering Antivirus like McAfee and TrendMicro in Azure and AWS cloud.
  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and CWE 25, with a proven track record and experience in implementing and integrating remediation strategies.
  • Excellent understanding of web applications, web servers, layer 7 application technologies, frameworks, and protocols with respect to application development and deployment.
  • Understanding of cloud-native and cloud-based security solutions and the ability to integrate these solutions into cloud security architectures and familiarity with Zero Trust security models and principles.
  • Proven experience with public cloud platforms, such as Azure, GCP, or AWS, with experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Policy as Code (PaC) principles and tools.
  • Adhere to Eka's ISMS policies and procedures while delivering duties.
