Cloud Software Engineer

You will be part of a world-class team that builds and maintains highly resilient and high-performing cloud services, enabling customers to securely access their hosted applications and desktops.
Job Description/Responsibilities:- Collaborate with development teams to design scalable and highly resilient systems using cloud architecture.
- Develop automation using industry tools to deploy a large number of services.
- Participate in incident response processes.
- Design and implement alerts and dashboards to monitor cloud services round the clock.
- Ensure high availability across all service offerings.
- Participate in disaster recovery processes.
- Adhere to best practices for secure infrastructure management.
- Work independently under limited supervision.
- May be responsible for entire projects or processes within the job area.
- Responsible for making improvements to processes, systems, or products to enhance performance in the job area.
- Problems and issues faced are difficult and may require understanding of broader sets of issues.
- Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues, job areas, or specialties.
- Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues.
- Communicate with parties within and outside of the job function.
- May have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization.
- Work to influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
- May be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area.
- May manage projects at this level, requiring responsibility for the delegation of work and the review of others' work product.
- Experience building infrastructure as a code solution using Terraform or similar tools.
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in one or more cloud providers, including AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, New Relic, Prometheus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Responsible for providing coaching, guidance, and training to others in the job area.
- Requires advanced knowledge of the job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
- Typically requires a BE/BTech degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience; or a MTech degree with 3 years of experience.
