Commercial Management Opportunity

The Commercial Manager role is a high-impact position that requires a seasoned professional with expertise in finance operations, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, MIS, audit, compliance, and stakeholder management.

  • Finance Operations:
    • Oversee end-to-end finance operations, focusing on revenue cycle efficiency, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all financial processes.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial performance.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
    • Prepare comprehensive annual budgets and rolling forecasts for the office, incorporating business insights and market trends.
    • Monitor and track budgets, identifying variances, and providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Financial Reporting & Closing:
    • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of reports.
    • Develop and maintain balance sheet schedules and reconciliations, highlighting key performance indicators.
  • MIS, Audit & Compliance:
    • Design and implement effective Management Information Systems (MIS) for data-driven decision-making.
    • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit closures and identify areas for improvement.
    • Ensure strict adherence to compliance requirements, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders to address finance-related matters and provide commercial support to leadership.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external partners.
  • Requirements and Qualifications
    • Hold a CA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) degree from a reputable institution.
    • Possess 8-10 years of relevant experience in finance operations, preferably in the advertising/media industry.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with advanced skills in data analysis and visualization.
    • Showcase exposure to legal/commercial drafting as an added advantage.
