About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who has a wide range of skills in database administration, reporting, and dashboarding disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with TSQL, SSRS, ETL, Azure data storage, Azure Synapse, and data warehousing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand business needs and design solutions that meet those needs.
  • Architect, design, and implement warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from bespoke applications and third-party products.
  • Consolidate multiple data sources into a data warehouse and/or data lake.
  • Maintain data quality and ensure it is accessible and structured for reporting needs.
  • Set up dashboards and reports in data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Built resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years of strong experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Strong experience querying and optimizing complex data sets.
  • Experience creating and optimizing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including data modeling and architecture.
  • Proficiency in Azure cloud technologies, including ADF, Functions, DLS, Synapse, etc.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
