Oracle Database Administration Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join our team in a mission-critical environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle 12c/19c database administration and possess expertise in RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM, RMAN, Data Pump, SQL & PL/SQL development, performance tuning and troubleshooting (AWR, ASH, ADDM), and Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.

Job Description
  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (12c/19c and later) in Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Configure RAC (Real Application Clusters), ASM (Automatic Storage Management), and clustering for high availability.
  • Manage Oracle listener, network services, and connectivity.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced SQL query tuning, indexing strategies, and optimizer statistics management. They will also utilize AWR, ASH, ADDM reports for performance diagnostics and tuning, and optimize schema design, partitioning strategies, and storage allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c database administration.
  • Knowledge of RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM, RMAN, Data Pump, SQL & PL/SQL development, performance tuning and troubleshooting (AWR, ASH, ADDM), and Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted Oracle DB solutions (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of database security standards & compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Git).
