Job Title: Financial Due Diligence Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our financial due diligence teams. As a Financial Due Diligence Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables and providing value-add inputs.

Your primary objective will be to develop an in-depth understanding of the target business, including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges. You will also lead the execution of client services as Engagement Manager, overseeing project delivery and briefing senior team members accordingly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the target business, including its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Lead execution of client services as Engagement Manager, overseeing project delivery and providing value-add inputs.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and analyze information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available data on the target business.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables (Excel, PowerPoint documents) within agreed timescales.
  • Review and analysis of historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets, projections, underlying assumptions, operating trends, quality of earnings, maintainability of EBITDA, working capital, cash flows, and net debt.
  • Identify key issues related to deals, assess their impact on valuation and price consideration, and advise on addressing these issues.
  • Establish and manage independent relationships with clients.
  • Ensure compliance with risk management procedures and activities.
  • Proactively resolve risk issues with Partner support while delivering services to clients.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts, review processes, and continually improve them to capture and leverage knowledge.
  • Build and manage effective teams, serve as a role model, mentor, and coach.
  • Work on business development, proposals, and cost estimates.
