Equity Researcher Role

We are seeking a talented Equity Researcher to join our team. This role involves conducting in-depth equity research, building and maintaining financial models, and producing insightful reports to support investment decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in analyzing PMS, AIFs, and Mutual Funds, with expertise in fundamental analysis, technical due diligence, and financial modeling.

  • Conduct thorough analyses of company financials, industry trends, sectoral analysis, and valuation to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop initiation and earnings update reports, sector briefs, and investment recommendations that provide actionable insights to investors.
  • Monitor and analyze fund performance, NAV movements, portfolio composition, and manager strategy to inform investment decisions.
  • Build and maintain rigorous financial models (DCF, projections), test assumptions, and perform scenario analyses to evaluate investment opportunities.
  • Prepare investor-ready presentations, research dashboards, and detailed write-ups that effectively communicate complex information.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • CFA, CA, MBA in Finance, or NISM certification for research professionals.
  • 3–8 years of equity research/fund analysis experience, preferably with exposure to PMS, AIFs, or mutual funds.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, valuations, and use of databases such as Probe42, MCA, NSE/BSE/SEBI website.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
