**Role Overview**

The Risk Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analysing credit and market risk exposure across the EMEA region.

This involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders to provide risk reporting for senior management and committees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing daily reports on credit and market risk.
  • Generating risk analysis and inputs for management committee packs.
  • Reviewing and sending limit breach notifications.
  • Conducting credit analysis of new and existing clients.
  • Responding to queries on limit utilisation and counterparty requests.
  • Providing margin rates and monitoring margin levels, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Supporting colleagues in the absence of risk analysts or market risk leads.

Strong knowledge of capital markets fundamentals, including mark-to-market and settlement processes, is essential. Additionally, understanding of equity and fixed income products, balance sheets, and income statements is beneficial.

Advanced Excel skills, experience with macros, and systems exposure to Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, and CRMS are also required.
