Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our excellence initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving service improvement activities across the business by employing process improvement methodologies and innovative thinking.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in implementing standard world-class manufacturing frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise new support materials based on revised processes, including training, reporting, and systems enhancements.
  • Proactive identification and mitigation of project risks are essential to ensure business impact and project objectives are met.
  • The Excellence and Innovation Leader will establish a program to deliver coaching and run projects across plants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Post-implementation reviews will be conducted to ensure successful delivery and identify opportunities for future improvements.
  • Promoting efficiency KPIs in manufacturing sites through lean methods will increase throughput and operational excellence.
  • Owning change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls is key.
  • The role involves supporting plant teams in benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs, driving innovation and growth.
  • Collaboration with operations to design, develop, and implement policy deployment within the business is crucial, cascading KPIs and KRAs at all levels.
  • Leading risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department ensures ongoing learning and development of employees in Lean improvement tools and communication methods.
  • Cultivating a culture of improvement by coaching and facilitating teams and individuals to identify and implement opportunities is essential.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills are required to effectively manage cross-functional teams and interact with diverse stakeholders.
