Improve Operational Efficiency as a Regional Manager

About the Role

This key position is responsible for overseeing service center operations, ensuring efficient coordination and timely processing of inventory to valued customers. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing streamlined processes, maintaining quality control and engineering parameters.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement efficient on-ground processes at the service center to streamline order processing, inventory management, and quality control.
  • Oversee the preparation of processing plans for the service center, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve service center operations to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.
Leadership and People Management
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns and customer complaints.
Quality Control and Assurance
  • Lead a team of QC personnel and GETs, setting up robust controls, SOPs, and daily reporting mechanisms.
  • Establish and enforce strict quality control measures to maintain product quality and consistency across all service centers.
  • Implement regular quality checks and audits to identify and rectify issues promptly.
Reporting and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, order processing, and quality control activities.
  • Generate daily/monthly reports and performance metrics to assess operational efficiency.
Vendor and Partner Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
Required Profile / Criteria / Skills
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in factory operations management or a similar role.
  • Industry Inclination: Strong inclination to learn about B2B online space and flat steel products.
  • Process Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement efficient processes.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education: A minimum Bachelor's degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering.
