Senior Development Director

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Director to lead our fundraising efforts and build strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in securing significant funding from corporate social responsibility (CSR) leaders, foundations, and high net worth individuals (HNIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's growth goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including CSR leaders, philanthropists, and impact investors.
  • Identify, cultivate, and manage a robust pipeline of donors and partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and tailored development of grant materials and donor communications.
  • Mentor and support a high-performing fundraising team.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A seasoned professional with 12-15 years of experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, or business development within the nonprofit, CSR, or impact investing space.
  • A strong grasp of India's social impact ecosystem and ability to intuit what funders value.
  • A compelling storyteller and sharp writer, able to translate complexity into clarity across proposals, pitches, and reports.
  • Strategic executor with a builder's mindset, thrive in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments.
