Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled QA professional to lead our testing efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing, including experience with manual and functional testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute test cases for regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
  • Conduct thorough manual testing of web and backend applications.
  • Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA insights during planning.
  • Contribute to process improvements and QA best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Strong understanding of regression, smoke, and sanity testing techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL for backend validation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in mortgage, finance, or banking domains.
  • Knowledge of IBMi systems.
  • Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
