Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our AI-driven medical analysis tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual QA experience, functional testing, user acceptance testing, and exploratory testing.

  • Perform thorough manual testing of complex patient data to guarantee precision in AI processing.
  • Execute comprehensive test plans across web applications to validate user experience, data accuracy, and workflow validation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and domain experts to understand user workflows and identify critical testing scenarios.
  • Conduct specialized testing of AI/ML outputs, including validation of NLP results, LLM responses, and data processing accuracy across diverse medical datasets.
  • Work closely with physicians and legal teams to gather feedback and ensure our tools meet real-world quality standards.
  • Help establish QA processes and documentation standards, contributing to our testing practices as we scale.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of manual QA experience with web applications, including test case creation, execution, and defect management.
  2. Strong experience in functional testing, user acceptance testing, and exploratory testing.
  3. Familiarity with web technologies and ability to test applications built with modern frameworks.
  4. Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Linear, Jira, TestRail, or similar).
  5. Understanding of AI/ML concepts or strong willingness to learn, including how to validate model outputs and data processing results.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail—critical when working with medical data.
  7. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience with automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Jest) or scripting for test automation.
  2. Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia) and basic understanding of REST endpoints.
  3. Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
  4. Background in healthcare, medical devices, or regulated industries with understanding of compliance requirements.
  5. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and web application architecture.
  6. Experience testing NLP applications, LLMs, or AI-powered products.
  7. Knowledge of accessibility testing and HIPAA compliance considerations.
  8. Understanding of agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes.
