Job Title: Surface Facilities Manager

  Role and Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Develop strategic contracting methods to manage surface facilities, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.">
  • Formulate market intelligence on yards availability, vendor bases, long-lead items, and respective legal terms.">
  • Conduct tendering processes for surface facility requirements, providing quality materials/services at the right time, price, and place.">
  • Draft complex legally binding tenders and contracts related to surface facilities, demonstrating an in-depth understanding of major fabricators within India, Indonesia, China, and Vietnam.">
  • Exercise good judgment in selecting best contracting methods, techniques, and commercial evaluation criteria for desired outcomes.">
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in surface facility procurement and contracting, examining, evaluating, and participating in developing and negotiating contracts.">
  • Own the procurement process, supporting strategic sourcing, subcontracting, vendor management, drafting prequalification criteria, tenders, terms and conditions, evaluation criteria, and central repository of tender-related documents.">
  Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.">
  • Minimum 12-15 years of professional contract/procurement experience in the industry, including tendering, sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, monitoring, and reporting contract performance.">
  • Good knowledge of handling surface facility contracting, market intelligence on yards availability, steel, pipelines, long-lead items, and respective legal terms.">
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.">
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex information verbally and in writing.">
  • Ability to accurately read, interpret, develop, and negotiate terms and conditions of contracts.">
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with business acumen to make sound management decisions/recommendations.">
