Logistics Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the management of our supply chain operations in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our logistics operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage and oversee all aspects of supply chain operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain and improve efficiency.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and reduce costs.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with carriers and service providers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
