The role of Supplier Development Analyst is crucial in driving incremental performance in supplier quality. The successful candidate will play a key part in the supply chain management process, assisting with supplier audits, resolving supplier escalations, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Optimization
    • Support country-to-country supply base development initiatives aligned with global strategies.
    • Identify and qualify local suppliers to enhance regional supply chain resilience.
    • Audit and release new suppliers in alignment with global and category-specific strategies.
    • Enable supplier success through onboarding and compliance requirements.
  • Supplier Partnership and Competency Enhancement
    • Develop programs to elevate supplier competencies and move them from develop to preferred classification.
    • Foster collaborative relationships with key suppliers to drive innovation and mutual growth.
    • Identify and address gaps in the supply base arising from NPIs and develop sources that support project execution.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Organize workshops and facilitate Kaizen events with suppliers to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
    • Implement sustainable practices within the supply chain to support environmental goals.
    • Perform cross-region procurement function audits as a baseline.
  • Contractual and Compliance Management
    • Ensure supplier adherence to policies, processes, and procedures.
    • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to develop and manage supplier contracts.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for supplier performance.
    • Provide regular reports and updates on supplier development initiatives and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Experience & Technical Skills
    • 3-5 years of experience in supplier development or strategic procurement.
    • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Experience in managing international projects.
    • Knowledge of sustainability practices in supply chain management.
    • Proficiency in Six Sigma, SAP, Reporting, Power BI, and MS Office.
