Job Title: Condition Monitoring Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Condition Monitoring Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in condition-based maintenance techniques, with the ability to independently troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve equipment problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide engineer-level support on condition monitoring of rotating equipment.
  • Utilize online and offline data acquisition techniques to analyze and provide necessary recommendations on maintenance needs.
  • Monitor and track rotating equipment condition in terms of failures, bad actors, cost, and count, and identify corrective and preventive actions.
  • Comply with best maintenance practices of predictive maintenance, preventative maintenance, lubrication, equipment changeover, and corrective maintenance.
  • Update and review best condition monitoring practice documents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Application of condition-based maintenance techniques.
  • Basic knowledge of machine condition monitoring, balancing, alignment, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with various vibration standards.
  • Basic understanding of rotor dynamics, mechanical design, equipment function, and construction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Accredited vibration analysis training (Cat I).
  • Knowledge of condition monitoring data systems like CSI, Emerson, SKF, and GE System1/SmartSignal.
  • Formal trainings in condition monitoring subject techniques from vendors, consultants, or reputed technical training institutes.
  • Certification in condition monitoring techniques.
