Job Description:

SAP PaPM Application Developers play a vital role in supporting Procurement and Supply Chain initiatives at APPIT SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED. As a seasoned expert, you will design, develop, and support business applications that meet client and business requirements.

You will possess strong knowledge of PaPM, experience defining systems strategy, designing, prototyping, testing, training, providing functional details, and working with the business on implementation. Your expertise will cover accounts payable, materials management, warehouse management, and inventory management functional knowledge in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.

In this challenging role, you will assist with responding to user requirements, production problem resolution, on-call support, change requests, enhancements, and new functionality. You will perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for related processes. Additionally, you will understand emerging technologies and determine which should be recommended for implementation.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to interact and collaborate with business and IT teams including application development, testing, operations, security, compliance, and project management office.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • SME of SAP-PaPM with at least 2 large PAPM projects done recently
  • 5+ years of development experience in SAP S/4HANA
  • Completed at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP supply chain transformation projects
  • Hands-on experience developing RICEF objects, User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancements, AMDP, EDI/IDoc
  • Experience integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using products such as SAP PO, CPI, etc.
  • Experience in SLT, ODATA, Fiori, UI5, and/or REST-based web services
  • Experience mapping business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal customization
  • Ability to assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution
