Solution Design and Development
Your primary responsibilities will include solution design, implementation of best practices in development for efficient and scalable solutions, and collaboration with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications. SAP Application Support
You will provide end-to-end SAP application support, including debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Contributing to the adoption of SAP Fiori/UI5 for modernized user experiences is also essential.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
You will work collaboratively with Agile project teams, attending stand-ups, sprints, and retrospectives. Acting as a technical mentor to junior developers and providing training on SAP best practices is crucial. Liaising with business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions with business needs is also required.
Qualifications & Experience
We seek candidates with 8+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer. In-depth expertise in SAP S/4HANA development and multi-modular implementations (PP, MM, SD, FICO, EWM, etc.) is necessary. Hands-on experience in at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations is also required.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, ALV Grids, Module Pools, Enhancements, and User Exits, BADIs, BAPIs, and Function Modules, ABAP Objects, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) is essential. Experience in HANA-related development, such as Core Data Services (CDS) Views, HANA Data Modeling, and SQL scripting, and expertise in SAP Workflows for process automation are also required.
Familiarity with SAP Tools
Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including Business Application Studio, and proficiency in Fiori/UI5 development using JavaScript and XML views are essential. Knowledge of SAP ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) and experience with modern DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins are also preferred.
Certifications and Soft Skills
SAP ABAP certifications are required, while SAP S/4HANA certifications are preferred. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, strong communication skills enabling effective collaboration with technical and business teams, leadership qualities for mentoring junior team members, and ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a deadline-driven environment are all essential.
