Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design and Development :

- Design and develop robust SAP ABAP solutions for complex business processes.

- Implement best practices in development for efficient and scalable solutions.

- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Conduct feasibility studies and assess the impact of new requirements on the existing system landscape.

SAP Application Management :

- Provide end-to-end SAP application support, including debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

- Resolve production support incidents and suggest alternative approaches for issues.

- Maintain technical documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals.

Code Quality and Assurance :

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable ABAP code while adhering to coding standards.

- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure the stability and performance of solutions.

- Perform peer code reviews to uphold high-quality development practices.

Technology Integration and Innovation :

- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA innovations and development tools.

- Explore new functionalities, such as ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP), and implement as needed.

- Contribute to the adoption of SAP Fiori/UI5 for modernized user experiences.

Team Collaboration and Support :

- Work collaboratively with Agile project teams, attending stand-ups, sprints, and retrospectives.

- Act as a technical mentor to junior developers and provide training on SAP best practices.

- Liaise with business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of technical solutions with business needs.

Qualifications & Skills :

Experience :

- 8+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer.

- In-depth expertise in SAP S/4HANA development and multi-modular implementations (PP, MM, SD, FICO, EWM, etc.

- Hands-on experience in at least two full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.

Core Technical Skills :

Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, including :

- Reports, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, ALV Grids.

- Module Pools, Enhancements, and User Exits.

- BADIs, BAPIs, and Function Modules.

- ABAP Objects and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

Experience in HANA-related development, such as :

- Core Data Services (CDS) Views.

- HANA Data Modeling and SQL scripting.

- Expertise in SAP Workflows for process automation.

- Strong knowledge of SAP Integration tools, including IDOCs, RFCs, and OData services.

- Proficiency in Fiori/UI5 development using JavaScript and XML views.

- Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including Business Application Studio.

Preferred Technical Skills :

- Knowledge of SAP ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).

- Experience with modern DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Jenkins.

- Exposure to automated testing tools and methodologies.

- Familiarity with SAP's Integration Suite or other middleware platforms.

Certifications :

- SAP ABAP certifications (required).

- SAP S/4HANA certifications (preferred).

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

- Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical and business teams.

- Leadership qualities for mentoring junior team members.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a deadline-driven environment
