Main Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Optimize ABAP code to run efficiently on SAP HANA using native HANA capabilities and performance tuning techniques.
  • Develop and manage Core Data Services (CDS) Views to create semantic layers for reporting and data modeling in the SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Design and implement ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for advanced database logic and performance optimization on HANA.
  • Create, enhance, and deploy OData services for seamless communication between SAP systems and SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
  • Develop and maintain SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 applications, ensuring an intuitive and responsive user experience for end-users.
  • Work on integrating SAP S/4HANA with cloud-based solutions, including SAP Cloud Platform and third-party cloud applications, to enable seamless data exchange.
  • Use SAP Cloud Connector for secure and reliable connection between on-premise SAP systems and cloud-based solutions.
  • Implement and manage API integrations (REST/SOAP) between SAP S/4HANA and external systems for real-time data exchange.
  • Perform advanced debugging of ABAP programs, OData services, and integrations, identifying and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions within SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based environments.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure high performance and scalability in cloud and S/4HANA environments.
