**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Strategist to lead our information security efforts. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive information security strategies, policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will lead the creation and maintenance of robust security controls to protect all information assets, including networks, systems, applications, and data.

You will conduct regular risk and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats, and establish incident response and business continuity plans for effective recovery from security incidents or breaches.

A collaborative approach is essential in this role, as you will work closely with IT, risk management, compliance, and legal teams to integrate security into all business processes.

To stay ahead of emerging security threats, you will need to stay updated on industry trends and technologies, advising on best practices and innovations.

This role also involves overseeing security awareness and training programs to ensure a culture of security throughout the organization.

As the primary liaison for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, auditors, and vendors, you will be responsible for communicating security matters effectively.

Regular reporting to executive leadership and the board on the organization's information security posture and improvements is also a key aspect of this role.
