Information Security Management System Auditor - Cybersecurity Specialist

Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional with expertise in Information Security Management System (ISMS) audits and cybersecurity assessments. The role involves conducting thorough audits, evaluating cyber risk controls, and ensuring compliance with security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ISMS audits in line with ISO 27001 standards to ensure robust security posture.
  • Perform comprehensive cybersecurity audits to assess organizational security controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and evaluate IT security policies, processes, and controls to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  • Identify gaps and recommend corrective actions to strengthen cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements for cybersecurity, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT, Risk, and Compliance teams to enhance cybersecurity postures and implement effective control measures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity audits or ISMS audits.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 27001 controls and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in IT General Controls (ITGC), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Risk Assessments.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, CIS, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • ISO 27001 LA/LI certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Additional certifications (CISA, CISM, CEH, etc.) would be advantageous.

Summary: To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent knowledge of ISMS audits, cybersecurity assessments, and IT security policies. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential to present findings effectively to stakeholders.
