Job Title: Senior Credit Underwriter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced credit risk analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial and transactional data to assess the creditworthiness of businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and analyze loan applications, credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant documents to assess credit risk.
  2. Collect, analyze, and interpret credit data from various sources to evaluate creditworthiness and verify loan documentation.
  3. Develop and maintain credit scoring models to evaluate credit risks and qualify leads by assessing financial needs and eligibility criteria.
  4. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.
  5. Prepare detailed reports on credit analysis findings, including risk assessments, credit ratings, and recommendations.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, sales, and operations teams, as well as external lenders and partners to ensure accurate and comprehensive credit evaluations.
  7. Educate clients on loan options, terms, and conditions, and assist them in understanding the loan application process and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk assessment and underwriting, preferably in Business Lending and Supply-Chain Finance products.
  • Familiarity with credit risk assessment methodologies, financial statement analysis, and regulatory requirements.
